MP Government to Provide Bonuses for Rice Farmers and Gifts for Laadli Sisters during Sawan

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced bonuses for rice cultivation and special gifts for Laadli sisters during the Sawan month. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that India’s vibrant festival culture nurtures brotherhood, love, and relationships. The month of Sawan, celebrated with monsoon rains and festive swings, is much anticipated. Raksha Bandhan, which symbolizes sibling affection, is a significant festival during this time.

August 10 Laadli Bahna Scheme and Raksha Bandhan Gift:

On August 10, Laadli sisters will receive ₹1,250 under the Laadli Bahna scheme, along with an additional ₹250 as a Raksha Bandhan gift. A total of ₹8.92 crore will be distributed to the sisters in Balaghat district on this day.

Bonus for Rice Farmers

Chief Minister Yadav also announced a bonus for rice farmers, following the GI tag awarded to Chinnaur rice from Balaghat. Bonuses will be provided to improve the economic conditions of livestock keepers as well. The budget allocates approximately ₹7,300 crore for the economic and social upliftment of special backward tribes under the PM Janman scheme, and construction of 19 roads for the tribal community will commence.

New Medical College in Seoni: Dr. Yadav further disclosed plans to inaugurate a new medical college in Seoni to enhance healthcare services. The state will establish 12 new medical colleges under the PPP model to improve medical infrastructure.
