According to the Meteorological Department, pleasant weather is expected across Bihar today, with no forecast for heavy rainfall in any region. The sky will remain overcast, and light drizzles may occur in some districts. The state is likely to witness the beginning of Navratri amidst these light showers.
In northern Bihar, particularly in flood-affected areas, light to moderate cloud cover will persist over the next four days. However, dry conditions are expected for the next two to three days. The department has stated that no significant weather changes are likely over the coming two days. From October 4 onwards, light rainfall may occur in certain parts of northern Bihar.
The department has released a forecast extending until October 6, predicting westerly winds at speeds of 10 to 12 km/h, followed by easterly winds. Morning relative humidity is expected to range between 80-95%, while afternoon levels may be between 55-65%. Maximum temperatures are forecasted between 32°C and 35°C, with minimum temperatures ranging from 24°C to 26°C.
Despite a weakened monsoon, sporadic rainfall continues in some northern districts of Bihar. Meanwhile, southern Bihar is experiencing relatively calm weather. No major weather warnings have been issued for any district today, Thursday. Clear skies are expected in Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka, Jamui, and Lakhisarai, while light drizzles or moderate rainfall are forecasted in the remaining 33 districts.
According to the Patna Meteorological Department, a few districts may only experience cloud cover today, with no significant change in temperature expected. Although the official monsoon season has ended, it has yet to fully retreat from Bihar.
