Most parts of the country are beginning to experience relief from rainfall. Currently, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have started receiving light showers. However, more than half of the southwest monsoon has covered the southern and western parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has now reached the eastern and southern parts of Uttar Pradesh, and there is a possibility of it fully advancing into the state soon. During these days, wind speeds can range from 2 kilometers per hour to a maximum of 40 kilometers per hour, with the possibility of dark clouds covering the sky. Speaking of temperature, the minimum temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius in the upcoming week, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of temperatures in Mathura and Agra rising by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius from the maximum temperature.
Regarding the capital city Delhi, there has been slight relief from heat and sunshine due to light rainfall. Delhi has been experiencing intermittent light showers for the past 24 days, signaling the arrival of the monsoon update. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is an alert for rain and strong winds in Delhi over the next 4 days. Additionally, on June 29 and 30, Delhi may see partly cloudy skies with chances of rain. Moreover, a decrease in temperatures is also being observed, with expectations of continuous drops in temperature. Today, June 25, Delhi may see a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius. It is estimated that the maximum temperature could drop to 36 degrees Celsius by the end of this month, with the monsoon fully establishing itself in Delhi by then.
