The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast favorable conditions for the further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and the Northwest Bay of Bengal. In the next 4-5 days, the monsoon is also expected to reach West Bengal, the remaining parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and some parts of Bihar weather.
Next 7 Days: Widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, and sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim.
Next 5 Days: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
