The monsoon has weakened across many parts of India, leading to increased humidity and heat in several states. The sudden halt in rainfall has resulted in a rise in temperatures. Here’s an overview of the current weather conditions across the country:

Weather Update for Delhi:

The monsoon has withdrawn from most parts of the country, including the capital city, Delhi, where rainfall activity has come to a standstill. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no forecast for rain in Delhi throughout the week. As of today, Sunday, October 6, the skies in Delhi are expected to remain clear, and despite the bright sun, the weather will remain pleasant. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36°C and 25°C, respectively. No rain is expected in Delhi until October 12, as per the IMD.

Bihar Weather, Monsoon Weakens, Rain in Some Districts:

Bihar, the weakening of the monsoon has resulted in an increase in humidity and heat. Over the past 24 hours, Sitamarhi recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6°C, making it the hottest district in the state. More than 17 districts have reported temperatures above 30°C.

Rain Expected in These Districts:

The IMD has predicted rain in 18 districts today, including Patna, Nalanda, Gaya, Siwan, Gopalganj, Saran, and Bhagalpur. While cloud cover is expected in many parts of the state, some areas may remain dry. Maximum temperatures during this period are expected to range between 32°C and 36°C.

The weather will remain stable due to the easterly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in parts of northwest and north-central Bihar until October 15.
