Government Gift to Wheat and Paddy Farmers: Direct Bank Support for Paddy Farmers

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Umaria district and made several important announcements for development. He stated that the state government will provide financial assistance of ₹2,000 per hectare to paddy farmers, which will be directly transferred to their bank accounts. This support will also benefit small farmers. Additionally, the government will provide incentives to farmers growing Kodo and Kutki crops and purchase wheat from farmers at ₹2,600 per quintal.

Support for Farmers:

The government will also buy milk from dairy farmers and give them a bonus. Farmers will receive solar-powered pumps, helping them save on electricity bills.

Development Plans:

Chief Minister Yadav announced that a Geeta Bhavan will be built in every city. In Umaria, a new bridge over the Son River will be constructed at a cost of ₹45 crore, while another bridge will be built for ₹32 crore. On Wednesday, he inaugurated several development projects and laid the foundation stone for new ones in Naorozabad, Umaria.

Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee:

The Chief Minister said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a great leader. This year marks his birth centenary. He launched several schemes for the welfare of villages and the poor. Due to the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, rural areas now have better road connectivity.

Road and Housing Schemes: The Chief Minister informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to build roads in villages with a population of at least 250 people. The government is also running a campaign to provide permanent houses to the poor so that every citizen can have a better life.

Boost to Employment and Industry: The government is making continuous efforts for the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women. To provide employment opportunities, Regional Industry Conclaves are being organized. In 2025, Bhopal will host the Global Investors Summit, where Prime Minister Modi will be present.

He further stated that Madhya Pradesh has no shortage of electricity and water. The government has introduced favorable policies to promote industries, ensuring that local youth can become entrepreneurs and provide jobs to others. The government will also offer subsidies for setting up factories worth ₹2 to ₹2.5 crore.
