As the nation grapples with rising temperatures, Maharashtra is also poised to witness an increase in mercury levels, with the possibility of soaring temperatures and heatwaves in several cities on May 1st and 2nd.

Weather Forecast for Mumbai: Today, May 1st, Mumbai is expected to have clear skies, accompanied by warm weather conditions and humidity. The maximum temperature is anticipated to range between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorological department, Pune is likely to experience a heatwave today, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 25 degrees Celsius. Additionally, on May 1st, cities like Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, and Jalgaon in Maharashtra are expected to have maximum temperatures ranging between 42 to 44 degrees Celsius, along with the likelihood of heatwaves and scorching today weather conditions.

High Tide Alert for Mumbai in June: While most parts of the country are experiencing increasing temperatures, especially in the eastern to southwestern regions, northern India is witnessing relatively milder weather conditions. It is estimated that this year, the influence of El Niño may lead to excessive rainfall in India. Moreover, the onset of the pre-monsoon season is expected soon, with the Meteorological Department predicting high tides in June, particularly along the coastal areas including Mumbai.
