To harness this potential, the Ministry of Youth Affairs has redefined the National Youth Festival by introducing the ‘Viksit Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad’ (Developed India Youth Leaders Dialogue). This transformative initiative aims to channel the collective power of young individuals and make them active contributors to the nation's growth.
On November 18, 2024, the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, announced the restructuring of the National Youth Festival 2025. Scheduled to take place on January 11–12, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, this event aims to foster youth leadership and provide them with a powerful platform to showcase their potential.
The Developed India 2047 initiative envisions transforming India into a developed nation by the 100th anniversary of its independence. The roadmap focuses on inclusive growth, sustainable progress, and efficient governance, with youth participation as a core element. Platforms like ‘Voice of Youth’ will enable young people to connect their creativity, energy, and ideas with the nation’s developmental goals, fostering innovation, self-reliance, and progress.
Promoting Youth Leadership in Governance: Aligning with the Prime Minister’s Independence Day address, which called for the active engagement of 100,000 young individuals in governance-related initiatives.
