Rainfall Forecast: From December 10 to 13, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. From December 11 to 13, heavy rainfall is also likely in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema. Between December 12 and 14, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Kerala and Mahe.
Over the next 3 days, a drop of 2-4°C in minimum temperatures is expected in Northwestern, Central, and Eastern India. After that, no significant temperature changes are expected. A cold wave is likely in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Western Uttar Pradesh on December 10 and 11. On December 10, cold wave conditions are expected in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. From December 10 to 13, cold wave conditions are also likely in East Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Western Rajasthan.
Dense fog is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh during the late night and morning hours until December 10. Dense fog is also likely to persist until December 11 in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Mizoram.
