Onion Price Trends Across Indian Mandis on March 21", Check Minimum-Maximum Prices

On March 21, 2023, as per today's released wholesale price index, the maximum average rate for medium-sized onions hits Rs. 2600 per quintal, while the minimum settles at Rs. 800 per quintal across various markets in India. The average market price for medium onions is registered at Rs. 2550 per quintal.
For Nasik onions, the maximum price in most markets’ hovers around Rs. 2300 per quintal, with a minimum of Rs. 1300 per quintal. The average price for Nasik onions is recorded at Rs. 2200 per quintal.

In the case of red onions, the maximum price is observed at Rs. 2450 per quintal, while the minimum price stands at Rs. 1200 per quintal. The average price is calculated at Rs. 2350 per quintal.

For big onions, the maximum price is marked at Rs. 3500 per quintal, with a minimum of Rs. 2000 per quintal. The average price is currently set at Rs. 3250 per quintal.

Stability in Onion Prices in Ghaziabad

On March 21st, today's tally at Ghaziabad market records 100 tons of red onions. According to current market rates, the maximum price in Ghaziabad hits Rs. 1900 per quintal, with the minimum pegged at Rs. 1800 per quintal.
 

Decline in Onion Prices in Shajapur

A slight decline in onion prices is witnessed today in the Shajapur market of Madhya Pradesh. The maximum price is noted at Rs. 700 per quintal, with a minimum of Rs. 560 per quintal.

Jaipur Market Marks Highest Price for Onions

Today, the Jaipur (Bassi) market in Rajasthan has recorded the highest price for onions this week, with the maximum price marked at Rs. 3000 per quintal and a minimum price of Rs. 2200 per quintal. The arrival in this market stands at 1.20 tons.
