The state government is accelerating the recruitment process in government jobs and simultaneously creating employment opportunities in the private sector. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that over the next five years, 2.5 lakh government jobs will be provided by filling vacant positions in the first, second, and third-grade categories through direct recruitment.
To ensure government job opportunities, the state government has initiated efforts under the "Employment Opportunities" section of its 2024 manifesto. As part of this initiative, an annual government examination calendar will be issued. Departments have been authorized to fill up to 5% of approved positions through direct recruitment, with this framework in place until 2028-29.
Recruitment will be conducted in two phases.
If vacant positions are less than 33%, all posts will be filled in one phase.
If vacancies are between 33% and 66%, recruitment will be conducted in three phases:
If vacancies are 66% or more, recruitment will be conducted in four phases:
For Vacancies Exceeding 200 Positions:
If vacancies are less than 25%, all posts will be filled in one phase.
If vacancies are between 25% and 50%, recruitment will be conducted in three phases:
If vacancies are between 50% and 75%, recruitment will be conducted in four phases:
If vacancies are 75% or more, recruitment will span five phases, with 8% filled in 2024-25 and 23% annually from 2025-26 to 2028-29.
Employment Opportunities in the Private Sector: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that apart from government jobs, the state has initiated efforts to create over 2.5 lakh employment opportunities in the private sector. Proposals received from investors have been instrumental in driving private-sector job creation. To equip the youth with industry-relevant skills, the government has introduced IT sector-focused and technical skill development courses, ensuring employment opportunities within the state itself.
Expedited Recruitment Process: Recruitment for over one lakh government positions has already commenced. Advertisements have been issued for filling vacant positions through the Public Service Commission and the Staff Selection Board. The state government remains fully committed to expanding employment opportunities across both government and private sectors, ensuring a brighter future for the youth.
