Under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, around 6,583,726 farmers have been issued credit cards. The scheme is being implemented effectively across the state, empowering and enriching farmers through continuous efforts by the government.
A total of 344,000 farmers in the state have registered for soybean procurement, which will commence on October 25. The purchase will be made at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹4,892 per quintal. Additionally, the procurement of coarse grains (jowar and bajra) will begin on November 22, and paddy procurement will start from December 2.
The state government has decided to provide short-term agricultural loans of up to ₹3 lakh at zero percent interest, aimed at strengthening the financial stability of farmers and meeting their agricultural needs.
