New Delhi, March 16, 2024 Today, on Saturday, March 16, Delhi is expected to witness partially cloudy skies, with a forecasted minimum temperature of more than 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of continued cloud cover in the sky this week, along with an anticipated increase in temperatures. Over the past few days, Delhi has experienced a series of hot winds, attributed to the ongoing western disturbances. This weather pattern has resulted in intermittent showers and the presence of dark clouds in the sky. This morning, New Delhi recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) level of 217.
The Meteorological Department analysis suggests a gradual increase in maximum temperatures by approximately 3 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal levels in various regions. States such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, South Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu, along with other parts of peninsular India, have been experiencing a consistent rise in temperatures. Additionally, during this period, warm and humid weather conditions are expected in coastal areas such as Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.
