The Central Government has already disbursed 17 installments under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, and the beneficiaries are eagerly awaiting the 18th installment. The funds are transferred directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides financial assistance to farmers across the country. Each registered farmer receives an annual amount of ₹6,000 in three installments, helping them cover essential agricultural expenses.
So far, the government has issued 17 installments under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Central Government typically releases ₹2,000 per installment, three times a year, at four-month intervals. Farmers are now anxiously waiting to know when the 18th installment will be released. According to the latest updates, the 18th installment is expected to be transferred directly into farmers' bank accounts via DBT in October 2024. This installment will provide crucial support to farmers in covering their agricultural costs.
To date, more than 9 crore farmers across the country have received over ₹21,000 crores through the 17th installment of this scheme.
