To promote efficient energy use, rooftop solar systems, timely bill payments, and electrical safety, the state has introduced mascots named Bijli (a young girl) and Vidyut (a young boy). These mascots will serve as ambassadors for the energy department, conveying important electricity-related messages to consumers.
The initiative, undertaken by all three power distribution companies in Madhya Pradesh, aims to promote electrical safety, energy conservation, energy efficiency, and the use of solar energy. It also seeks to encourage consumers to make timely payments of electricity bills.
