₹100 Crore Allocated for Working Women's Hostels; Self-Help Group Women Creating a New Identity

The Madhya Pradesh government has allocated ₹100 crore for the construction of hostels for working women. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure the education, employment, and bright future of women and girls across the state.

Special Benefits in Education, Employment, and Property for Women
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that women contribute to over 45% of the state's total startups. Women have been given 35% reservation in government jobs, creating new opportunities for their success. Self-help group members are also carving a new identity as "Drone Didis." Furthermore, special concessions are being provided for women in the registration of houses, shops, and land, enhancing their ownership rights and empowering them to take important family decisions.

₹27,147 Crore Budget for the Women and Child Development Department
Dr. Yadav emphasized that the empowerment of society is incomplete without the empowerment of women. He said that to advance the state’s progress, it is essential to provide ample opportunities in education, skill development, and employment for women and girls. A total budget of ₹27,147 crore has been allocated for the Women and Child Development Department. Over the past six years, the size of the gender budget has doubled. Various incentives are also being offered to encourage women's participation in the business sector.

Women's Employment Fair in Ujjain: Participation of 25 Companies
Dr. Yadav expressed pride that women are not only actively participating in employment and entrepreneurship but are also managing family responsibilities efficiently. He reiterated that the state government stands with women at every stage of their lives. At the employment fair organized in Ujjain, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment, and Ujjain district in-charge Mr. Gautam Tetwal, MLA Mr. Anil Jain Kaluheda, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Mrs. Kalavati Yadav, and former Union Minister Dr. Satyanarayan Jatiya were present. Over 25 companies participated, offering various employment opportunities for women.

New Employment Opportunities for Women
The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that women employed in textile factories will receive an incentive of ₹5,000, along with a company-provided salary of ₹8,000, bringing their total monthly income to ₹14,250. Additionally, the state government has launched a recruitment campaign for 1 lakh government posts and plans to create 2.5 lakh job opportunities over the next five years.
