As per the state government’s directives, the policy for wheat procurement at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi marketing year 2025-26 has been released. Under this policy, wheat procurement will take place from March 15, 2025, to May 5, 2025. Previously, the procurement period was scheduled from March 1 to April 18, but the government has revised the dates accordingly. Collector Mr. Balaguru K. has instructed concerned officials to ensure smooth execution of all necessary procedures in line with the procurement policy.
As per the orders of Collector Mr. Balaguru K., self-built warehouses of MPWLC (Madhya Pradesh Warehousing and Logistics Corporation) have been assigned for wheat procurement in various tehsils, based on the recommendations and decisions of the District Procurement Committee.
The wheat procurement process will be conducted five days a week (Monday to Friday). Farmers can sell their wheat from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with weighing slips issued by 6:00 PM. Only wheat meeting FAQ (Fair Average Quality) standards will be accepted. Farmers must ensure their produce meets the prescribed quality standards before bringing it to the procurement center.
Slot Booking and Online Billing: Farmers must book slots online for selling their produce at the procurement centers. The crop must be sold within seven days of the slot booking date, and an online (final) bill must be generated within this period. After the specified deadline, the portal will not allow bill generation. Only farmers with an online slot booking will be allowed to sell their wheat.
Weighing and Record Management:
Each wheat sack must weigh 50 kg + 580 grams (new jute bag weight).
All procurement records will be digitally maintained on the e-Procurement Portal.
Both the procurement officer and the farmer must complete e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) verification using Aadhaar before processing payments.
