The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for several districts in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Weather Update, forecasting cloudy skies and light rainfall on April 8th. According to IMD, many cities in these states are likely to experience overcast conditions and a chance of drizzle. This prediction comes in the wake of a western disturbance and a cyclonic circulation, which are expected to bring showers to major districts like Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Khajuraho, Chhindwara, and others in Madhya Pradesh from April 10th. Additionally rain showers are anticipated in several districts of Chhattisgarh including Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, and Bijapur. Across the majority of cities and states in the country, there has been a gradual increase in temperatures, but a slight dip is expected as a shift in weather patterns suggests the onset of rainfall once again.
IMD forecasts rain in Maharashtra Nagpur, Pune, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, and other districts from April 8th onwards, persisting for the next 4 to 5 days. Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, is also likely to witness cloud cover during this period. Furthermore, Bihar, Jharkhand, and various cities in Odisha are anticipated to experience strong winds and rainfall today. Parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan in western India also have a slight chance of rainfall. IMD hints at a possible relief from the prevailing heatwave conditions in the coming days due to the expected showers.
