The coming days, Madhya Pradesh is likely to experience strong winds along with rain and hailstorms, while the weather in Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain stable, with temperatures continuing to rise. Let’s take a closer look at the weather conditions in MP and UP.
The weather in Madhya Pradesh is shifting rapidly. Over the next few days, more than 12 districts may experience strong winds, rain, and hailstorms. After a brief rise in temperatures at the beginning of February, the cold returned unexpectedly, and now the weather is set to change again.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures across the country are currently 3-4°C above normal. A cyclonic circulation is active over northern Afghanistan, Rajasthan, northeastern India, and Bangladesh, impacting Madhya Pradesh’s weather conditions.
Daytime temperatures in Madhya Pradesh have started increasing, with a rise of 2-3°C expected at night as well. Major cities like Bhopal and Indore may see maximum temperatures ranging between 30-31°C. However, cold wave conditions persist in Mandla, Naugaon, Pachmarhi, and Shahdol. Following the rainfall, some districts may experience a slight drop in temperature.
Stable Weather in Uttar Pradesh, But Temperatures Continue to Rise:
Uttar Pradesh is expected to witness stable weather for the next week. According to the weather department, strong winds may continue until February 14, but no severe weather warnings have been issued. The gradual rise in temperatures will make the heat more noticeable in the coming days. Most cities will experience clear skies, offering some relief, though mild heat may be felt during the afternoon.
Rising Temperatures in Uttar Pradesh, Some Relief After February 14: As per the weather forecast, Lucknow’s maximum temperature is expected to reach 29°C today, while Kanpur may record 28°C. Until February 13, cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur will experience stable weather. However, strong winds are likely, and temperatures will continue to rise, leading to mild heat. After February 14, wind speeds are expected to decrease, bringing some relief.
