The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted rainfall across various regions of eastern India, including Arunachal Pradesh, for the next seven days. According to the weather department, there is a likelihood of rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Coastal West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand during this period. Due to the influence of a western disturbance, these areas may witness occasional light showers, with some states experiencing strong surface winds.
On March 7th, rainfall was observed in cities of Odisha and Coastal West Bengal. Additionally, on March 8th and 9th, light intermittent rain is expected in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, along with the anticipation of rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the same week. In several regions of western India, an increase in temperature has been noted. Western Uttar Pradesh weather update, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and various cities have experienced a rise in temperature by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. Central India is expected to maintain clear skies during this period. Conversely, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu are likely to remain hot and humid. From March 10th to March 12th, regions including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh may witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning. Alerts have been issued in these states due to the possibility of lightning strikes.
