According to the Wholesale Price Index, in August 2022, the price of tur dal was Rs 6,493 per quintal, and in August 2023, it was Rs 8,903 per quintal. Similarly, the price of rice in mandis was Rs 2,993 per quintal in August 2022 and Rs 3,264 per quintal in August 2023. In August 2022, the price of maize in mandis was Rs 2,140 per quintal, and in August 2023, it was Rs 2,154 per quintal. Urad dal was priced at Rs 6,534 per quintal in August 2022 in mandis, and in August 2023, the price of urad dal was Rs 7,893 per quintal, while the price of moong dal was Rs 6,379 per quintal in August 2022 and Rs 7,715 per quintal in August 2023. The price of groundnuts was Rs 6,015 per quintal in August 2022 in mandis and Rs 6,750 per quintal in August 2023.
