Rewa Agricultural College to Undergo Development Worth Over ₹12 Crore

A development plan worth ₹12.37 crore will soon be implemented to enhance the infrastructure of Rewa Agricultural College. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla inaugurated the Girls' Hostel Building and the Shri Ann Processing & Storage Facility within the college premises, constructed at a cost of ₹1.05 crore.

New Faculties and Research Facilities:

Deputy CM Shukla emphasized the need for infrastructure expansion and new construction in this institution, established in 1952. Efforts are underway to introduce new faculties, appoint professors, and enhance research facilities to support academic and agricultural advancements.

Campus Beautification and Road Development:

Recently, the college received a newly constructed road, which will soon be equipped with street lights. The Deputy CM also suggested plantation along both sides of the road to make the campus greener and more sustainable.

Farmers to Benefit from Shri Ann Processing Center: Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra, stated that the establishment of the Shri Ann Processing Center will significantly benefit farmers in the Vindhya region, as the global demand for Shri Ann (millets) is continuously increasing. He also acknowledged the Deputy CM’s invaluable contribution to the college’s development.

The event was attended by Member of Parliament Janardan Mishra, College Dean Dr. Sant Kumar Tripathi, faculty members, and a large number of students.
