Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme: Opportunity for Industrial Projects up to ₹5 Lakh for Scheduled Caste Communities

The District Antyavasayee Cooperative Development Committee, Sehore, is implementing the Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Economic Welfare Scheme. These initiatives are designed to enhance the welfare of Scheduled Caste communities by providing self-employment opportunities.

Self-Employment Opportunities Ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹25 Lakh:

The Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme, financial assistance is available for industrial projects ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh, including agro-processing, food processing, cold storage, milk processing, and more. Additionally, service units and retail businesses such as beauty parlors, vehicle repair, footwear repair, grocery stores, and garment businesses can avail funding between ₹1 lakh and ₹25 lakh. The Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Economic Welfare Scheme provides funding for self-employment projects ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹1 lakh.

Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme:

1. Age: 18–45 years
2. Minimum Educational Qualification: 8th standard pass
3. Annual Family Income: Not exceeding ₹12 lakh

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Economic Welfare Scheme:

1. Age: 18–55 years
2. Applicants must not be income tax payers.

Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme:

1. 5% annual interest subsidy on loans disbursed by banks.
2. Subsidy is provided for a maximum of 7 years.
3. The Madhya Pradesh government will cover guarantee fees.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Economic Welfare Scheme:

1. 7% annual interest subsidy on loans disbursed by banks.
2. Subsidy is provided for up to 5 years, including the moratorium period.
3. The Madhya Pradesh government will cover guarantee fees.
