The northern regions of India continue to experience extreme heat. According to the Meteorological Department, from June 13 onwards, areas including the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh are expected to face a heatwave for the next five days. Additionally, parts of Bihar Weather, Jharkhand, northern Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan will also witness heatwave conditions from June 13 to 15. 

Currently, most cities in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab are grappling with intense heat, with temperatures rising significantly. The heat is so severe that temperatures from Delhi to Kanpur have soared, with the maximum temperature surpassing the June record of 47 degrees Celsius.

Today Weather in Delhi on June 13:

On June 13, according to the Meteorological Department, residents of Delhi will have to endure extreme heat and a heatwave, accompanied by scorching sunshine. The IMD predicts that Delhi's maximum temperature could reach 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature might stay around 30 degrees Celsius. The heat shows no signs of abating in Delhi, with forecasts indicating the possibility of a heatwave persisting until June 18, and maximum temperatures remaining around 44 to 45 degrees Celsius.

When Will the Monsoon Reach Northern India: The monsoon has currently reached the southwestern parts of the country. However, the northern regions of India are expected to see the monsoon arrive soon. The Meteorological Department estimates that the monsoon could reach northern India by June 25. The severe heatwave is expected to continue in these regions until then.
