The coming days, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are expected to experience dry weather, leading to a rise in temperatures. While several states recently witnessed rainfall, the upcoming week may bring an increase in heat across the country.
After recent rainfall and strong winds, weather conditions changed in several districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Badaun, Bareilly, Agra, and Aligarh. The rain brought temporary relief, but from Sunday onwards, clear skies are expected, which may result in rising temperatures and intense heat. According to meteorologists, the state will experience dry weather from March 23 to 28, with no rain or strong wind alerts. Daytime temperatures are likely to rise, while nights will remain relatively cooler.
Madhya Pradesh is experiencing mixed weather conditions, with rainfall and hailstorms in some areas and intense heat in others. According to the weather department, rain and storms will subside from Sunday, but temperatures may rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next three days. A new weather system is expected to affect the state from March 25-26, leading to possible changes in conditions.
The past 24 hours, states like Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar witnessed light to moderate rainfall. Telangana, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Lakshadweep also experienced showers, while Kerala saw heavy rainfall. Light rain was recorded in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
The weather forecast indicates that the coming week will be mostly dry across the country, with no significant rainfall expected. However, rising temperatures may intensify heatwave conditions. In North India, increasing heat is becoming a concern not only for people but also for farmers worried about potential crop damage.
