Azadpur Mandi: Today, Azadpur Mandi saw the highest arrival of tomatoes, with 512.4 tons being sold. The minimum price of tomatoes was ₹1200 per quintal, the maximum was ₹3200 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2460 per quintal. Azadpur is one of Delhi's largest wholesale markets.
Keshopur Mandi: Keshopur Mandi, 175.25 tons of tomatoes arrived today. The minimum price was ₹1800 per quintal, the maximum was ₹3000 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2500 per quintal. The prices here remained relatively more stable compared to Azadpur Mandi.
Bikaner Mandi: Bikaner Mandi in Rajasthan reported an arrival of 73.8 tons of tomatoes. The minimum price was ₹2400 per quintal, the maximum was ₹2600 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2500 per quintal. Despite lower arrivals, the prices remained steady.
Sri Ganganagar Mandi: At Sri Ganganagar Mandi, only 16 tons of tomatoes arrived today. The minimum price was ₹2200 per quintal, the maximum was ₹2600 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2400 per quintal. Despite the lower arrivals, the prices remained stable.
Azamgarh Mandi: Azamgarh Mandi, 80 tons of hybrid tomatoes arrived today. The minimum price was ₹2225 per quintal, the maximum was ₹2375 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2300 per quintal.
Lucknow Mandi: Lucknow, 80 tons of desi variety tomatoes arrived. The minimum price was ₹2250 per quintal, the maximum was ₹2350 per quintal, and the model price was ₹2300 per quintal. Due to the higher quality of the desi variety, the prices here remained consistent with other mandis.
Conclusion: Tomato prices in Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh varied depending on the arrival volume and variety of the produce.
