Under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) of the Government of India, registration for the Kharif 2024 (Marketing Year 2024-25) Tur Crop will be conducted on the E-Procurement (E-Uparjan) Portal from March 25, 2025, to April 20, 2025. The Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, Bhopal, has issued detailed guidelines for the registration process.

Tur Dal Registration Process and Guidelines:

To ensure a smooth registration process, Collector Shri Shailendra Singh has stated that farmers can register on the E-Uparjan Portal (www.mpeuparjan.nic.in). The determination of registration centers, arrangement of physical and human resources at the centers, farmer registration and verification process, awareness campaigns, and training programs will be conducted as per the circular issued on January 15, 2025, by the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department.

Verification of Registered Farmers for MSP-based Procurement:

The verification of registered farmers and their cultivated land will be carried out between March 28, 2025 and April 25, 2025. Farmers are advised to complete their registration and verification within the stipulated time to avail the benefits of Minimum Support Price (MSP) procurement for their tur crop.

Tur Procurement Continues on NAFED and NCCF Portals: Tur procurement has already begun in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Telangana. As of March 11, 2025, a total of 1.31 lakh metric tonnes of tur (arhar) have been procured, benefiting 89,219 farmers in these states. Procurement in other states will commence soon. The government is also procuring tur from pre-registered farmers through NAFED’s E-Samridhi Portal and NCCF’s joint portal. The Government of India remains committed to 100% procurement of tur through central nodal agencies like NAFED and NCCF, ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their produce.
