The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed once again, bringing rain and cold winds to many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is expected to impact the state on February 28, leading to rainfall in several areas.
Thunderstorms, strong winds, and hailstorms are likely in many districts of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Areas such as Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bijnor, Rampur, and Moradabad may witness hail along with heavy winds. The wind speed in some places could reach 30-40 km per hour.
The weather department has issued a warning for 35 districts, including Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Bareilly, Pilibhit, and Shahjahanpur. These areas are at risk of lightning strikes, and residents are advised to take precautions.
Drop in Temperature Expected: Due to rain and cloud cover, the temperature is expected to fall by 3-4 degrees Celsius over the next two days. The weather may remain unstable on March 1, and residents should stay alert.
Further Temperature Drop in Uttar Pradesh: A new western disturbance is expected from March 2, which could further lower the maximum temperature by 3-5 degrees Celsius in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. A slight dip in the minimum temperature is also expected. On Thursday, Ayodhya recorded the lowest temperature at 10°C, while Agra was the warmest at 31.6°C. People are advised to stay updated on the weather and take necessary precautions.
