April has brought a glimpse of summer to Uttar Pradesh, with temperatures set to soar across several districts in the state. While March witnessed sporadic changes in weather and occasional rainfall in northern regions due to western disturbances, the rain has subsided, paving the way for a consistent rise in temperatures. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates temperatures to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in districts like Varanasi, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Mirzapur in the coming weeks.

- Lucknow: Today, April 4, Lucknow is expected to have clear skies with a slight increase in maximum temperatures, ranging between 37 to 38 degrees Celsius, and a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius.
- Kanpur: Kanpur might experience dry weather today, although occasional presence of light clouds is expected. Maximum temperatures could reach 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius.
- Varanasi: Today, Varanasi is likely to witness maximum temperatures between 39 to 40 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius. The city will remain sunny throughout the day.
- Ayodhya: Ayodhya is witnessing a consistent rise in temperatures each day. While the weather will remain clear today, slight cloud cover is anticipated in the evening. Maximum temperatures could reach 39 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius. According to the weather department, temperatures are expected to surpass 40 degrees Celsius from tomorrow onwards.
