Lucknow, March 15, 2024 Today, according to the Meteorological Department, Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, is expected to have clear skies with a likelihood of temperatures ranging from a minimum of 16 to a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius. Across most northern states of India, the chances of rainfall have significantly diminished, giving way to the onset of warmer weather during the daytime due to intense sunlight. Yesterday witnessed a rise in temperatures in several districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Etawah, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Orai. These districts experienced some of the hottest days so far in March. However, sudden changes in the weather update have seen a shift towards cooler temperatures, signalling a departure from the recent hot days.
In Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and other eastern regions, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds. Meanwhile, in western and southern states, the weather is expected to remain clear and dry.
On March 14th, light to moderate rainfall and snowfall were observed in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Sikkim. Additionally, Jharkhand and Kerala also experienced light rainfall. Meanwhile, the weather remained dry and clear in other states across the country.
