According to forecasts released by the meteorological department, from May 4th onwards, regions of West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand may experience a slight respite. However, concerns linger over the persistence of heatwaves in certain areas of these eastern states.
The capital city of Patna, Bihar, skies are expected to remain clear today, although the blistering heat and scorching sun may continue unabated. Maximum temperatures could reach up to 39 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures hovering around 25 degrees Celsius.
It is anticipated that from tomorrow onwards, partial cloud cover may grace most cities of Bihar, including Patna, hinting at the likelihood of rain starting May 6th.
In the capital city of Kolkata, West Bengal, partial cloud cover is expected today, accompanied by a reduction in heat and humidity. Maximum temperatures could reach 38 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures around 23 degrees Celsius. The forecast suggests a possibility of rain in several other cities starting tomorrow.
