According to the IMD, several locations in Madhya Pradesh can expect light rainfall, hail, and thunderstorms with wind speeds of 50-60 km/h today. Additionally, the following states are likely to experience inclement weather:
The IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds (30-40 km/h) in various locations across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. Furthermore, moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and winds (40-50 km/h) is expected in the regions of Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, and Lakshadweep.
Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal: These areas can expect light to moderate rainfall in isolated places over the next five days.
