A western disturbance is expected to create a low-pressure area over western Rajasthan and nearby Pakistan within the next 24 hours. This will increase moisture flow over northern Pakistan and the Indian Himalayan region. Moist air from the Arabian Sea is likely to reach the western Himalayan region between February 26 and 28, leading to changes in the weather.

Rain and Snowfall in Northern States:

Several northern states, including Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, may experience light to moderate rain and snowfall from February 26 to 28. Thunderstorms and lightning are also possible in some areas.
Some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh may witness heavy rain and snowfall between February 26 and 28, while Uttarakhand may see similar conditions on February 27 and 28. Additionally, very heavy snowfall is expected at isolated places in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on February 26 and 27, and in Himachal Pradesh on February 27.

Rain, Strong Winds, and Hailstorm in Punjab and Haryana:

According to IMD, several states in North India are expected to receive rain between February 26 and March 1. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan weather, and Uttar Pradesh may see light to moderate rainfall during this period. Strong winds (30-40 kmph) are expected in Punjab and Haryana on February 27 and 28. Thunderstorms and lightning may occur in many places, while hailstorms are possible in Punjab and Haryana on February 27.

Rising Heat and Humidity in Gujarat: As February ends, temperatures in central and southern India are rising. Parts of Gujarat are likely to experience hot and humid weather, while heatwave conditions may affect Konkan & Goa, coastal Karnataka, northern Kerala, and Mahe.
