Rain is expected in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, bringing a slight drop in temperature. Additionally, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand may also experience rainfall. On the other hand, Gujarat and interior Karnataka are likely to witness intense heat and humid conditions.
The month of March continues to bring fluctuating weather patterns, with scorching sunshine on some days and cool, pleasant weather on others. Temperatures in North India, especially in Delhi-NCR, are rising, and heatwave-like conditions are developing in some areas. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), strong winds are likely to blow across Delhi in the coming days. After March 20, daytime temperatures in North India will increase significantly, although mornings are expected to remain relatively pleasant. This week, Delhi's temperature is expected to range between 18°C and 37°C, with no signs of rainfall.
According to the IMD, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand may experience thunderstorms accompanied by 30-40 km/h winds and lightning strikes today. Additionally, Punjab weather, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep could witness lightning in some areas.
As for rainfall, heavy showers are expected in parts of South Tamil Nadu and South Kerala today.
