The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy snowfall in several states of Northern India on Monday, February 26th. Among these, alerts have been issued for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, along with other Himalayan regions, advising citizens to remain cautious. According to the weather forecast, heavy rainfall is also anticipated at any time. Additionally, in such conditions, the problem of landslides is more prevalent, so drivers are advised to exercise caution.
On February 26th, Delhi witnessed a decrease in temperature accompanied by dense fog in the morning. Today weather update suggests the possibility of light rain as well. Alongside, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 186. The worst air quality was observed in I.T.I Shahdara Industrial Area with an AQI of 211, Anand Vihar in Delhi recorded 198, and as usual, Sector - 125 Noida recorded a hazardous AQI of 980, depicting a scene of dangerous air.
Today, there is a possibility of rainfall in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region and other areas, along with expectations of light rain in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This morning, dense fog enveloped several cities in Madhya Pradesh, and although no significant rise in temperature is expected due to the changing weather conditions, a slight decrease is anticipated.
