The government is actively purchasing wheat at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) in Madhya Pradesh. Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput has announced that 74,697 farmers have sold 5,80,711 metric tons of wheat so far. The government is ensuring timely payments, with ₹757.36 crore already transferred to farmers' accounts.
This year, the government has set the MSP for wheat at ₹2,425 per quintal. Additionally, the state government is offering a bonus of ₹175 per quintal, bringing the total price to ₹2,600 per quintal. This helps farmers get better returns on their crops.

Farmers Must Register Before March 31:
So far, 13.98 lakh farmers have registered to sell their wheat under this scheme. Farmers who have not yet registered must do so before March 31 to benefit from the government's procurement program.
