The registration process for wheat procurement at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi Marketing Season 2024-25 is set to begin. Farmers can register between January 20 and March 31. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, Mr. Govind Singh Rajput, has urged farmers to complete their registrations within the stipulated time to avoid any inconvenience. To ensure convenience, the registration process has been made extremely simple. Farmers can register from the comfort of their homes using the MP Kisan App on their mobile phones, eliminating the need to queue up at registration centers.
Increase in Minimum Support Price: The Government of India has announced an MSP of ₹2,425 per quintal for wheat, an increase of ₹150 from the previous year.
The registration fee at these centers will not exceed ₹50, as determined by the District Collector.
Special Provisions for Sikmi, Sharecroppers, and Forest Lease Farmers: Special arrangements have been made for Sikmi (landless laborers), sharecroppers, Kotwars, and forest lease farmers. These farmers can register only at cooperative society-operated centers, and their verification will be conducted by the Revenue Department.
Aadhaar-Linked Bank Accounts for Payment:
Farmers will receive payments for their produce directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. In case of issues with the primary account, alternate accounts provided during registration will be used. Inactive accounts, joint accounts, or accounts with Fino, Airtel, Paytm, etc., will not be accepted. Farmers must link their Aadhaar numbers with their bank accounts and mobile numbers.

Timely Completion of Processes: District Collectors have been instructed to ensure the timely completion of the registration process. Active Aadhaar registration centers and the use of post office Aadhaar services have been prioritized for farmers’ convenience.
