Youth Employment Fair 2024, NIELIT will organize it in Delhi

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, organized the 'Yuva Rojgar Mela 2024' on 29th September 2024 in Delhi. The job fair was held at NIELIT Delhi’s office, located at Pankha Road, Janakpuri, with the aim of providing employment opportunities to NIELIT alumni and students. A total of 16 companies participated in the event, shortlisting candidates for over 1,000 job openings. More than 1,300 candidates registered for the job fair.

A Step towards a Bright Future for Students:

Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Director General of NIELIT and Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of NIELIT University, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the fair by lighting the ceremonial lamp and addressed the attendees. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Tripathi emphasized the significance of job fairs organized by NIELIT across the country. He highlighted that last year, over 6,000 offer letters were issued during NIELIT job fairs, and this number is expected to increase this year. He also noted that these job fairs not only help skilled students secure prosperous careers but also contribute to the growth of organizations and the economy. Dr. Tripathi appreciated the efforts of the NIELIT Delhi team for successfully organizing the job fair and expressed his gratitude to the companies that participated.

Companies Set Up Placement Desks at the Job Fair:

A special technical session on 'Soft Skills - CV Building' was conducted during the event by Mr. Mohammad Junaid, Assistant Manager, Digital India Corporation, MeitY. In addition, placement desks were set up by various companies, including Tech Mahindra, Paytm, Frankfinn (Shavsi Global Services), Axis Bank, Hinduja Housing Finance, Access Healthcare, Card Expertise India Pvt. Ltd., Ebix Cash, I Process, PNB MetLife, Siddhi Infonet + Sony, Khushboo Consulting Partners, VCOSMOS, Kaidoko, Shriji Entertainment, and Ritras Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Kanjhawala.
